Zabbix Maintainance

In Zabbix, maintenance refers to a scheduled period during which specific hosts or host groups are excluded from monitoring, and triggers related to those hosts are suppressed. This is useful for planned activities such as system upgrades, maintenance, or troubleshooting, where you don't want alerts to be generated for temporary downtime or changes.

To setup any maintenance tasks we can set it under Data Collection > Maintenance section on the zabbix dashboard. We will setup 8 hours of maintenance as the demo.

This will ensure all the logs generate in this period will be neglected and no alerts will be displayed on the zabbix dashboards as alerts.
