LVM (Logical Volume Manager) is a flexible and powerful tool used in Linux for managing disk storage. It allows administrators to create, resize, and manage logical volumes (partitions) in a more dynamic way than traditional partitioning methods.
With LVM, you can:
Combine multiple physical disks or partitions into a single logical volume group (VG).
Create logical volumes (LVs) within the VG that can be resized easily.
Add or remove storage devices without disrupting existing data.
