Installation

We will now move forward installation of trend micro deep security manager on prem in this section. We can download the setup file from the deep security trend micro download page here.

Once setup is downloaded we will follow this steps to install the deep security manager on the windows server 2022.

Once the database is configured the deep security manager will be installed on its own and we can wait for the process to complete and then we will be asked to enter the license keys

We also have the option to skip the license page to install it as an unlicensed product and skip to installation process back (For testing purpose use case only).

Once setup is complete we will have to configure the access of the server. We can use the existing domain or IP address to use the web interface and change the ports if necessary.

Configure the username and passwords for access of the deep security manager console. Now we will be asked about updates automatically and proxy config if necessary for your own deployment needs.

We will setup the database encryption and enable the secret configuration to ensure the data is encrypted and always confidential in case of database is exposed to any external harmful entity.

We will configure the same server to act as the relay server to distribute and provides the security updates to the deep security agents over the network.

Now we can visit the deep security console at https://domain.com:4119 and enter the credentials to access the dashboard.
