# Shodan

**Here are the basic search filters you can use:**

1. **city:** find devices in a particular city
2. **country:** find devices in a particular country
3. **geo:** you can pass it coordinates
4. **hostname:** find values that match the hostname
5. **net:** search based on an IP or /x CIDR
6. **os:** search based on an operating system
7. **port:** find particular ports that are open 
8. **before/after:** find results within a timeframe
